Self Compassion Teen Group

  • Memphis Center for Mindful Living 4646 Poplar Memphis United States (map)

Adolescence is a time when we often struggle with self acceptance and feel alone with our struggles. By learning to bring compassion to ourselves with the realization that we aren’t so different from everyone and that everyone struggles at times, we can bear whatever challenges come our way.

This 8 week therapy group can benefit teens who struggle with self criticism, perfectionism, insecurity, self doubt, dissatisfaction with life, anxiety and depression. Drawing on mindfulness and self compassion practices, this group will offer teens an opportunity to support each other while learning and practicing skills together.

The cost per session is $50. Some insurance plans accepted. Health Savings Account cards are also accepted.
