Leanna Baldner, LPC-MHSP
Hi, I’m Leanna. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP), and I support men, women, and teens who are navigating trauma, attachment and relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, or major life changes. Many of my clients come to me when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves or others. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, authentic, and accessible—because I believe therapy should be available to everyone who wants it.
Not everyone signs on to work with teens, but my experience working in a Memphis area school as well as at Youth Villages has deepened my understanding of how much young people carry and how healing it can be when they have a trusted place to share their story. I love helping teens find new ways of connecting, coping, and moving forward.
In therapy, I draw from approaches like person-centered, attachment-based, and existential work, as well as Somatic Experiencing (SomEx) and cognitive behavioral therapy. Together, we’ll explore both your personal story and what you’re experiencing right now, then use practical tools to support healing and growth.
Outside of my counseling work, I’m a fan of cold rainy days, dark humor, coffee shops, Broadway shows, traveling, hiking in the mountains, yoga, and weightlifting. I believe life—like therapy—is about showing up authentically, embracing both the challenges and the joys, and discovering meaningful connection along the way.
If you’re ready to take a step toward healing and want a therapist who is approachable, genuine, and deeply invested in making therapy accessible, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
